I apologize for being somewhat neglectful. I'm getting married in a little over two months and that plus the stress of papers and presentations (which seem to be the new favorite thing of professors) has driven me a little crazy. It's been a really great semester so far, over all. And I've been working on posts but haven't finished them. (I also apologize for flaws in the blog design. I'm getting a little frustrated with Weebly….)

1. If you make a list of priorities and uncompromisable desires, your wedding planning will be a lot smoother.
Because money is no object on this your very special day and everyone wants what the bride wants. 2. Once you make a decision, everyone will help you get it done. People are so excited about your wedding that they will sop up every detail and definitely never ask you to go over all of it again when you ask for help with an upcoming decision. 3. Your wedding will be picturesque. Photographers cost thousands of dollars. For their most basic package. For example. And everyone understands that you may pass over a family friend in favor of a proven professional. 4. Your wedding day is your day. In this enlightened age, parents know that they don't own their children and they certainly aren't passing over the ownership of their daughter. The decisions of the couple are their own to make. Relatives love traveling long distances and don't expect you to fulfill arbitrary traditions. So weddings are never embarrassing, humiliating, compromising, or frustrating. |
