This project has me really excited. As I was looking for a craft to post about today, I saw a drawer disguised as book spines, which is cool, right? You know that bookshelf that's actually a door? Or the book that's actually a secret hiding spot? Well, this is a drawer. (The website says it's easy, but I have my doubts. . . .) But then I saw this, and look! They're so cute! I knew I was saving that paper towel roll for something. It's so hard for me to throw those things away. Whether it's because I had dwarf hamsters when I was a kid or because I just know those things are crafts waiting to happen, I couldn't throw the tube away, and now I'm glad. I can make at least two, maybe three, owls out of it - a family of owls! It'd be kind of neat if I could use them for something, like to hold things, but they're not really for that, so maybe they'll just be my inspiration owls. Decorations on the shelf. Representatives of the character that is my bedroom. Anyway, I originally found it on THIS website, which I'm sharing because it has other cute ideas, but it links back to THIS website, which stole the idea from Pinterest so. . . who knows where it's originally from. Maybe a grade school teacher. Ahhhh the world of bloggers. |
