It's been several months, now, since I began this particular scarf for my boyfriend. While he was in Europe, I was determined to get it done and send it to him before the really cold weather set in. Perhaps a more adept knitter could have made it, but I didn't. I had to study, and it's difficult to study when you're constantly worried that you might have just made a mistake. So I didn't get it done. I went home for Christmas break and worked on it like mad so I could bring it to him when I visited him. I made a lot of progress but it didn't seem quite long enough. I kept at it. Now and again I would pick up my knitting bag and knit another foot or two at a time. Then finally, I showed it to my boyfriend and asked him about the length. He just laughed. He wanted it much longer. |
I got the pattern from Ravelry and it's free! I highly recommend it. My boyfriend loves it.
